Learn Something New Today from Mom’s Favorite Educators
I am a perpetual learner and for many years I’ve made it a personal goal to learn something new everyday!
I’ve taken at least a few courses from each of the educators below. Most of them offer lifetime access. This is something I really appreciate, since it seems that each time I login for a refresher, I learn something that I missed the first time around! Some are affiliates, some are not. Either way, I hope you’ll take advantage of their knowledge share.

Scentsational Essential Oils Series by Christine Pressler, CA
Lavender: Lavender Recipes & the Plant Behind the Oil
This first book in my Scentsational Essential Oils series is full of information about types of Lavender, its history, and its use in aromatherapy, skin care, crafting, cooking, and herbalism.
And of course, no book of mine would be complete without loads of recipes!
Yep! Lavender contains 125 recipes and easy ways to incorporate the Lavender essential oils, hydrosol, and herb into your life.
Lavender is available at:
A Scentsations Journal & Workbook #1

Aromahead Institute
Aromahead Institute is one of the world’s leaders in Aromatherapy and essential oil education. They offer classes ranging from an introduction to Natural Living all the way to Level 3 Aromatherapy Certification. They also offer a whole slew of 1-3 hour workshops where they focus on one particular issue or plant.
I have personally taken nearly every course Aromahead has to offer and this is where I received my Aromatherapy Certification (ACP). I often say, my only regret about the ACP is I waited so long to enroll!
All Aromahead classes have unlimited lifetime access, meaning anytime an update is made or new information is added you will have access to that, too!
Below you’ll find one class I’m highlighting and 3 (rotating) courses, classes, or workshops I recommend.
BRAND NEW COURSE: Internal Use Foundations
One of the most controversial issues in aromatherapy today is the internal use of essential oils.
Is using essential oils internally safe? What essential oils can you use internally? What essential oils should never be used internally? What’s the best way to use them? And how do you know what the best route of application is?
All of these questions and more are answered in Aromahead’s newest Internal Use Foundations course.
This is an excellent foundational course filled with fascinating facts and information. Once I started I couldn’t stop and completed the entire course in just under 2 months.
This course encourages aromatherapists to consider all application methods to determine the best mode(s) for a particular situation. It covers internal use with capsules, honey, gummies, suppositories, and more!
If you are a Certified Aromatherapist or a current certification student at Aromahead, enroll now for immediate access to all modules. And if you’re a Thriving Aromatherapist member, use your discount to save!
3 Excellent Aromahead Classes
Aromatherapy for Natural Living – This 6-lesson, 36-hour course with Aromahead founder, Andrea Butje, covers a little bit of everything aromatherapy and is a great introduction for living a more natural life. This all-purpose class provides dozens of recipes for diffuser, inhaler, and topical essential oil blends, green cleaning blends, and skin care blends. BTW, many who’ve taken this class agree: The Aloe Cream recipe, alone, is worth the price of this class! And, as someone who started my aromatherapy journey with green cleaning, I love the Abrasive Tub Scrub!
Protect Your Family from Colds & Flu – This 3-hour workshop with Aromahead founder, Andrea Butje, takes a deep-dive into 5 key essential oils to support wellness and ease cold and flu symptoms. Using the recipes in this workshop you’ll be able to replace those OTC medicines with natural options.
Essential Oils for Circulation & Lymph Systems – This 1.5 hour workshop with Aromahead’s Educational Director, Karen Williams, takes a look at how 3 specific essential oils and 6 supportive essential oils can help us balance our systems. Karen provides 5 beautiful recipes, discussing how each of the ingredients work together to help our bodies reach and maintain a natural rhythm. The Soothing Leg Spray recipe is wonderful.

The Lipid Oils Academy
For years Susan Parker has researched and worked with lipid “carrier” oils. When so much focus is on essential oils, Susan has made it her goal to put some of that limelight on these beautiful and skin-nourishing plant oils.
I consider her The Lipid Oil Expert and recommend her book Power of the Seed and her courses whenever I can.
Power of the Seed is available on Amazon. (Read Mom’s Review.)
With consumers becoming more aware of the impact synthetics can have on their skin, there’s a definite move towards waterless skin care products. Now’s the time to learn about the lipid carrier oils and butters and focus on incorporating them into your skin care.

In this 5-day challenge Susan Parker will walk you through crafting a custom facial oil! Over the course of 5 days, Susan will provide her tips, tricks, techniques, and tools for face oil formulating.
