Harnessing Full Moon Energy to Manifest Renewal & Abundance
The full moon has captivated humanity for millennia. This luminous orb has been woven into folklore, religious practices, and scientific inquiry. But beyond its romantic glow, the full moon also carries a powerful energy. By attuning ourselves to its influence, we can harness this full moon energy to illuminate areas of our lives that deserve attention, promoting abundance on a personal level, and nourishing mental energy.

Full Moon Energy for New Beginnings
The lunar cycle, marked by the waxing and waning phases of the moon, mirrors natural rhythms of growth, release, and renewal. The full moon, occurring roughly every 28 days, signifies a culmination of energy. It’s a time when things come to fruition, emotions heighten, and introspection becomes more potent.
However, full moon energy is not solely about emotional release. It’s also a time of cleansing and letting go. We can use this time to shed habits, negative thought patterns, and anything else that saps our mental energy. This creates space for intentions that align with a life of abundance.
Shining a Light on Metal Energy Expenditure
The concept of abundance extends beyond the material world. It encompasses a sense of wholeness, fulfillment, and the ability to live your life to the fullest potential. The illumination of the full moon offers a powerful opportunity for self-reflection and awareness of mental energy expenditure.
Journaling under the Moon: What areas of my life are draining my mental energy? What habits or relationships no longer serve me? What brings me joy and a sense of fulfillment? By exploring these questions, we can identify where our energy needs to be redirected or what best replenishes it.
Meditation by Moonlight: Focus on your breath and allow thoughts and emotions to come and go without judgment. As you settle into stillness, you may discover patterns in your energy expenditure. Make note of each of these, again without judgement. You can journal about each, if desired, to learn more about the impact each has on your energyโdraining or revitalizing.
Setting Intentions for Manifesting Abundance
Abundance Affirmations: Create a series of affirmations to repeat during a mental energy revitalizing session throughout the lunar cycle. During the full moon, focus on those that embody abundance. For example:
- I am capable of success.
- I am worthy of abundance.
- I make a difference.
Keep your affirmation cards in your Personal Sanctuary. I love these Affirmation Meditation Cards (Amazon).
Visualizing Abundance: Visualization is a powerful tool for manifesting your desires. Under the full moon’s light, close your eyes and visualize your life brimming with abundance. See yourself radiating confidence, achieving your goals, surrounded by love and success. Use measured breathing to help hold this visualization further aligning yourself with your intentions.
The Rhythm of the Moon: Fostering Long-Term Abundance
While the full moon offers a potent window for setting intentions, cultivating abundance is a continuous journey. By integrating positive, affirming practices into our daily lives we can extend the positive energy of the full moon to create lasting abundance.
Gratitude Practice: Gratitude is a cornerstone of abundance. Throughout the month, cultivate a daily gratitude practice. Take time to appreciate the good things in your life, big or small. This fosters a sense of abundance and attracts more blessings into your life.
Moon Phase Syncing: Familiarize yourself with the entire lunar cycle as each phase offers unique energies and support. By aligning your actions and mental energy with the moon phases, you can work with the natural rhythms of the universe.
Moon-Charged Water: Fill a large clean glass jar with filtered water and place it outdoors where it can be bathed in the light of the full moon. This “moon water” is believed to be enriched with full moon energy. Bring in before sunrise. I use a 32 ounce Mason jar, store in the refrigerator, and pour a small 1oz glass for myself each day.

Roll-on: Add essential oils to 10ml roller bottle, top with Jojoba (or other favorite carrier oil). Cap and rock gently to combine. Roll over wrists, heart, and back of neck. Roll lightly over palms, rub hands together, then massage into scalp. Finally, cup hands over nose and inhale with a few shallow breaths, followed by a few deep breaths.
Inhaler: Add 3x the drops to small bowl, add wick, and allow to absorb. Using tweezers, transfer the wick to the inhaler case. Take a few short inhales through the nose just before beginning a manifesting session. Replace after 2-3 weeks.
