I have found some of the most appreciated gifts are those you make yourself. With a little guidance you can make a beautiful Skin Care Gift Basket, filled with fun, natural self-care/skin care products. Here is some inspiration for DIY gifts and how to package them for your gift basket.

Skin Care Gift Basket Presentation
Creating an eye-catching gift basket is essential for making your DIY gift memorable. Here are some tips for effective presentation of your skin care gift basket:
Choose a container that is appropriately sized. For example, if you’re including a face steaming blend you might package all the gifts in a large heat-safe, flat-bottomed bowl. For skin care the gift recipient would use in the bathroom, consider a small wire basket or even clear toiletries bag.
Arrange items thoughtfully. Place taller items at the back or center (if you want to create a 360° presentation) and shorter items at the edges of the container. This ensures all your carefully crafted DIY gifts are visible.
Add decorative touches. Fill the spaces with compostable paper shreds or nestle the products in handcrafted potpourri. Add a few dried or silk flowers, a lavender sachet, a handcrafted candle, or some other special personalized item. Include a handwritten note.
Secure all items. This is especially important if you are mailing your gift basket—a heat shrink bag is your friend!

The best container for an after bath body oil is a pump bottle. This helps minimize spillage and waste and makes dispensing easy.
For a gift basket use 1oz or 2oz sizes in either glass or PET plastic with a treatment pump top. These are my favorites.

We need to be very careful with the delicate skin on and around our lips. Harsh exfoliants can damage the skin barrier, causing peeling and chapping.

Lip Care Gift Basket Tip
Include 1 or 2 variations of lip sugar and a tube of lip oil in your skin care gift basket.
Since you need very little product for a lip exfoliating session, I like 15ml glass jars. For lip oils I prefer an applicator tube, but a roller bottle works well, too!
If you like making lip balms, include a tube or slide top of your favorite “flavor,” too! (Aromatics International has a nice Tropical Cocoa lip balm recipe.)
