Aromatics International
Family owned and operated out of the mountains of Montana, USA, Aromatics International ships worldwide with rapid turnaround times.
They work directly with farmers, wildcrafters, and distillers who practice their craft using sustainable and organic methods. They also have an Artisan line which includes their own handcrafted essential oils, hydrosols, and herbal oils.
Aromatics carries a wide variety of Certified Organic pure essential oils and they are very selective of the oils they carry. Each batch is thoroughly tested before sale and batch-specific GC/MS reports for each essential oil are included on the site and easily downloaded.
In addition to essential oils, they carry a good selection of hydrosols, lipid carrier oils, butters, and aromatherapy supplies. Because their hydrosols are preservative-free, some, like Peppermint and Spearmint can be added to water for a refreshing treat!
Aromatics International provides a wide variety of guides, educational blog posts, and DIY recipes on their website.

Aromatics International is closely connected with Aromahead Institute, a recognized world leader in Aromatherapy and essential oil education.
Karen Williams and her daughter, Jenny, are co-educational directors at Aromahead. Karen, a Registered Nurse and Certified Aromatherapist, sources all products sold by Aromatics International. In fact, if you choose to take any of the Aromahead Institute courses, Aromatics International offers kits, at a significant discount. And each kit includes all of the ingredients and supplies needed to study and create the blends discussed in each course.
Edens Garden
Located in sunny San Clemente, California, USA, Edens Garden is a family owned and run company. All of their essential oils are produced from plants grown in their natural (indigenous) locations. They work directly with farms and distillers to ensure ethical, sustainable, and pesticide-free growing conditions. Each batch is third-party tested, with GC/MS reports available on their website.
Through their Seeds of Goodness program, Edens Garden supports numerous non-profit organizations such as Angel House, Feeding America, One Atta Time, and Youth with a Mission (YWAM).
Edens Garden provides single essential oils, essential oil blends, diffusers. and a variety of other products on their website (not an affiliate link) or through their Amazon Storefront. Their customer service is friendly and responsive and they offer a rewards program for direct orders.
They provide several educational posts on essential oils use and Aromatherapy and a nice downloadable e-book on using essential oils to support everyday wellness.

Located in Idaho, USA, Plant Therapy ships worldwide with rapid turnaround times. They are one of the few essential oil companies to have the Leaping Bunny Certification.
They carry a wide variety of Certified Organic pure essential oils. Each lot is thoroughly tested before sale and batch-specific GC/MS reports for each essential oil are included on the site and easily downloaded.
They also have a good selection of hydrosols, carrier oils, green cleaning blends, and pre-blended skin and hair care products. I am a fan of their passive diffusers for gentle bedtime diffusion and their Tea Tree hydrosol for skin care. Their newest addition to the line-up is a collection of herbal tinctures.
Plant Therapy provides reference charts, blogs, and videos to support the essential oil DIYer.
Plant Therapy is very active in supporting philanthropic causes, such as Make-A-Wish, the Africa Heartwood Project, and Boys & Girls Club of America. In addition, they provide community donations and service work through their Planting Kindness program.
A portion of the proceeds from each sale of their monthly Planting Kindness essential oil blend goes to support that month’s cause or charity.
