Unlike herbal oils made with quick heat, our St John’s Wort oil is crafted using time-honored traditional techniques. The freshly harvested flowering tops are steeped in organic Avocado oil under gentle solar warmth for 10+ weeks. This encourages the plant’s active compounds, including hypericin, to fully saturate the oil, creating the characteristic deep ruby red.
