Aromahead Institute is one of the world’s leaders in Aromatherapy and essential oil education. They offer classes ranging from an introduction to Natural Living all the way to Level 3 Aromatherapy Certification. They also offer a whole slew of 1-3 hour workshops where they focus on one particular issue or plant.
I have personally taken nearly every course Aromahead has to offer and this is where I received my Aromatherapy Certification (ACP). I often say, my only regret is that I waited so long to enroll!
All Aromahead classes have unlimited lifetime access, meaning anytime an update is made or new information is added you will have access to that, too!

For years Susan Parker has researched and worked with lipid “carrier” oils. When so much focus is on essential oils, Susan has made it her goal to put some of that limelight on these beautiful, skin-nourishing plant oils.
I consider her The Lipid Oil Expert and recommend her book Power of the Seed and her courses whenever I can. Power of the Seed is available on Amazon. (Read the Review.)
Herbal Actives: The Science of Infused Oils
I love chemistry! Itβs one of the reasons I enjoy working with essential oils. But, some time ago, I realized I was only looking at part of the picture. We talk a lot about the volatile (aromatic) parts of plants. These are the important constituents of essential oils.

But the real skin-healing magic lies in the non-volatile constituents. These are the heavy molecules, like triterpenes and polyphenols, that don’t evaporate.
Last year I dove into Susan Parkerβs excellent Herbal Actives course to master the molecular science of infused oils. Even if you don’t love chemistry the way I do, you’ll find Susan discusses plant chemistry in an easy, accessible way.
